Welcome to Veliraf kennel, home of the 'True Blue' (well, maybe some 'Red' ones too!!) Australian Cattle dogs.   Our dogs are spoiled and much loved additions to our farm. They all help with the chores, and have plenty of time to rough house or just hang out. Swimming in our trout pond is one of their favourite activities.(At least it was until the drought of 2007 dried them up!!!!)     All of our breeding stock is tested clear of progressive retinal atrophy, hip dysplasia, and BAER tested for hearing BEFORE the dogs are bred.   With the advent of the PRCD DNA test, we are now in the process of having all of our dogs DNA'd for PRCD.   We generally breed only once per year-and then only if we feel that a particular combination will produce some outstanding puppies.   All of our puppies are raised in the kitchen to promote early socialisation and all are sold with written contracts.
