| Welcome to our First Freshener
page. Here are our does who have freshened for the first
time. I do not judge our girls too harshly on their first
freshening, as subsequent freshenings can change an udder quite a bit. This can
be either bad or good!! Please excuse the lack of/out of date pictures. We will be giving our girls a haircut as soon as we are able, and posting udder shots as well. |

Black w/blue eyes
SIRE: Galiano's Dante
(Nova Lea Midas Touch X Tupence Sapphire)
A doe from lines I am not used to using. This girl could use a better topline- though she is nice and small. She has been bred to Sugar Creek NT Tight Wad for spring kids. Towhee can definately use help in the rear udder department- so hopefully Tight Wad will help in that respect. We may be retaining a doe.

What
a little powerhouse of a doe! Although I was surprised that Pellionia only had a single- I
am quite happy that it was a doe. She's line-bred on Twin Creeks PD MoneyInTheBank. This doe is TINY! I would be surprised if she's over 18". She freshened for us in 2008- lots of capacity-
I would like to see longer teats-
but we'll see what 2009 brings. She has been bred to Velvet Acres RB Tuscan Sun for spring kids.

Can't remember the last time we had twin does born here.......I thought it would never happen again :) Both Thorn and her sister
Thistle, will be retained until at least after freshening, I really do need to see what Pugalist is capable of doing. He seems to put nice general appearanced on his kids. Torn has been bred to Stud, as we need to see what HE is capable of producing.

What a nice little doe.
Plain-Jane colour wise, but that's the way it goes here :) Tarragon freshened
for the first time in 2008 with twins. She has been re-bred to Cesaer's Villa FZ
First Rate in the hopes that she will have a nice doe kid for me.

What a nice little doe. I'm somewhat surprised her mom didn't have trouble with this kid, since she is so
small. She freshened for the first time with triplets. They were TINY. I would like to see a higer rear udder on this girl and hopefuly being bred to Cesaer's Villa FZ First Rate will help in that regard.

Tiny little girl
out of a set of triplets. She's a light cream colour, really quite pretty. Nice
angulation in the rear. Her mom, Rosa, does need a higer rear- but she does have
tons of capacity. Tassel freshened with a nice little udder- though
it could be higher in the rear. She has also been bred to Dill's LD 5Card
Stud to see what he will produce.

I have a feeling that this
girl is going to be special. She did freshen as a yearling and even produced a
doe kid who is NOT black/chocolate and white!! Amazing. She has an udder that is
very similar to her mother's, nicely shaped, fairly good capacity, good medial.
We'll have to see how it is with subsequent freshenings- but I think she'll be a
keeper. She has been bred to Velvet Acres RB Tuscan Sun for her 2009
Freshening- we can't wait to see what comes of this. Tuscan has been producing
some very stylish kids.
We currently provide buck service to those who have purchased the does to be bred from us in the past.
