Welcome to our Junior Doe page.   As they have not freshened yet, we have no idea of what their udders may be like.   These little girls are our hopes for the future, they will hopefully combine the absolute best genes of their parents to make them freshen with well attached, capacious udders, good medial, and have easily milkable teats.   They will have lots expected of them!!

Chocolate Buckskin w/white anklet

SIRE: Sugar Creek SS Storm Trooper
(Twins Creeks SS Storm Surge X Jobi Lovely)
DAM: Veliraf SG Sequoia
(Sugar Creek FR Snow Goose X Veliraf SS Natalie)

My first doeling of the 2008 season!   Nice little doe who looks as though she is going to have a mix of both her sire and dam's general appearance. Although she was really wide as a kid, she has narrowed somewhat in the rear. Hopefully her udder will help to widen her up again. Not really flashy colour- but she's NOT black and white. Hooray!!   This is our only daughter we have from Trooper so far, so Eucalyptus will be staying on to see what he can produce. She'll be bred for 2010 kids- not sure who she'll be bred to- but First Rate is ALWAYS a good choice!!!

SIRE: Sugar Creek NT Tight Wad

DAM: Veliraf SG Blak I'd Susan
(Sugar Creek SS Snow Goose X Veliraf MP Nadia)

Little cucumber. Though she looks really short- once she is clipped out she's really a nice little doe. She is our first kid out of Tight Wad, who was purchased for the excellent mammaries he has put on his daughters. C'ucumber has really nice body capacity, and is nice and wide in the rear. I can hardly wait until she freshens for me in 2010. Not too sure who she'll be bred to- but I'm thinking it might be First Rate.

SIRE: Caesar's Villa FZ First Rate
(Caesar's Villa GL Fritzgerald X Caesar's Villa PN Fabulous)
DAM:Veliraf Blue Rosa
(PromisedLand Blue Prince X Sugar Creek NR Vanesa Redgrave)

Well, at least we're consistant here! Another black and white kid. Rosa fresehend again with good capacity, but did need a higher rear udder, and just generally tighter attachments. This little one will take over her mother's place- but will hopefully prove to have a better mammary system. She has a nice topline, and has excellent body capacity.

DAM:Veliraf SS Poison Sumac
(Suger Creek SS Six-Shooter X Gay-Mor's LS Napa Valley)

Oh look, a black and white doe! First Rate does seem to put some really typey kids on the ground though. I am extremely happy so far with what he has been producing. This doe won't freshen until 2010.   She seems to have inherited her dam's rump, and is a little steep- but perhaps breeding her to Stud will correct that. She's a bit of a hard keeper, and doesn't seem to condition as well as our other does- hopefully motherhood will help with that. A doe will be retained.

SIRE: Velvet Acres RB Tuscan Sun

DAM:Veliraf S Robinia
(Sugar Creek SS Spencer X Bar Way Acres Sterling Silver)

One of a set of doe twins- Tuscan really puts his mark on his kids. I like this little doe, and she has been getting out to some of the shows this year.  I can hardly wait to see what kind of udder she freshens with. Her dam had excellent capacity- but needed a higher rear. Hopefully Tuscan will correct that.

DAM:Veliraf SW Tobacco
(Veliraf SS Seaweed X Goodwood KW Callista)

A nice little black doeling who made herself at home in our house when she decided to arrive in the midst of a severe cold snap.  She has been bred to Caesar's Villa FZ First Rate for spring 2010 kids.

Little Watermelon. Sweet, sweet doe. Again, Tight Wad is not the best general appearance buck- but I've seen what he can do to mammary systems. I'll likely be breeding Watermelon to Tuscan to improve appearance.

SIRE: Velvet Acres RB Tuscan Sun

DAM:Veliraf SS Blue Spruce
(Sugar Creek SS Storm Trooper X Veliraf Blue Phlox)

I love this doe- though she doens't seem to care much for me :) We've been showing her this summer and she has generally been placing at the top of her class. Being shown in the AOP class- she's placed at the top numerous times. Rockton World's Fair saw her place first in a large class of Nigerians and Nubians. She is nice and level and very dairy. I can't wait to see her freshen in 2010. She has recently had a growth spurt, and is turing into a really beautiful doe.

DAM:Veliraf Wil's Nightengale

I finally have a doe kid from Nightengale. I haven't clipped her down yet, and probably won't for this year- so I can only guess about what's under her thick coat of hair. This doe won't freshen until 2011.

Veliraf TW Witch Hazel

SIRE: Sugar Creek NT Tight Wad
(Sugar Creek MT Nate X Sugar Creek MT Penny Pincher)
DAM: Veliraf P's Perfect Thyme
(Veliraf SG Pugalist X Gay Mor's LS Napa Valley)

The smallest doeling out of her group. Witchy is a little short bodied right now- but as I haven't seen many of Tight Wad's kids growing up- I figure I should give this one a chance to see what he can do. I'm thinking this doeling will have an amazing udder- her dam's, even as a first freshener- was glued on. Since she is still small- she'll be held over until 2011 to freshen as a two year old.

DAM:Veliraf SO Tarragon
(Veliraf SG Saguaro X Veliraf SS Blue Spruce)

What a nice little doe- I had though she was nice- but then she was clipped out for a show- and I couldn't believe how dairy this little girl is. She has nice sharp shoulders, and is really level. She's been line-bred on Caesar's Villa First Rate, and so far- it looks like it worked very well!!

Another very stylish doe out of Tuscan. Nice general appearance- and such a sweet doe- just like her mom. I can't wait until 2010, to see what Tuscan does to our udders.
