Welcome to Veliraf Farm Poultry page. We currently have various species of poultry and waterfowl. Links to the various pages can be found below. In the year 2003, we will have limited poultry available in all breeds except Muscovies, and Guinea Fowl, White Wyandottes and possibly Buff Laced Polish. This is, of course, provided that things go well. We're also hoping to have some chocolate Guinea Fowl available this fall, and possibly some white and/or some buff, as well as our pearl and lavender. Any stock which doesn't meet our high standards for breeding will be culled. Pictures and other information will be added as time permits.

Hatching eggs will be available in the following species, Guinea fowl, Buff Laced Polish, White Wyandottes and White Silkies. The Buff Laced Polish, White Wyandottes and White Silkies hatching eggs will be available in limited quantities.

The following are some of the species that can currently be found here at Veliraf Farm.

Muscovies- in white and pied varieties.
Call Ducks- in the Snowy, White, and Pastel varieties.
Turkeys, in the Bronze, Narragansett and Bourbon Red varieties.
White Wyandottes- Bantam.
White Silkies.
Standard Polish, in the Buff-Laced and Gold-Laced varieties.
Guinea Fowl- Pearl, Lavender, Chocolate, Violet, and White varieties.

I hope, as well, to be introducing some other breeds of poultry, such as Araucanas, Porcelain d'Uccles, and possibly Buff or Black Silkies. As poultry- but not waterfowl- is a new endeavor for myself(aside from having chickens for strictly egg purposes) I will be starting fairly slowly, and working my way up! I have been attending numerous poultry shows, and learning the standard of my selected varieties. Please feel free to contact us with any inquiries you may have.
