Welcome to Veliraf Farm Chickens pages.   Below you will find links to pages on each breed that can be found here.   We have tired to provide a little information on each breed as well as pictures of our own stock, where possible.   Any pictures not taken by myself have been clearly marked.   Any stock which doesn't meet our high standards for breeding will be culled.   Pictures and other information will be added as time permits.
    We do not currently have hatching eggs for sale- though we do hatch our own eggs with great sucess.  Because so many things can go wrong with hatching eggs, we cannot provide a guarantee for your hatching results.   If questions arise regarding hatching problems, our best advice is to talk to the manufacturer of your incubator.   We have about an +80% sucess rate when setting with our own eggs.

I hope, as well, to be introducing some other breeds of poultry, mainly white Silkies.   As poultry- but not waterfowl- is a new endeavor for myself(aside from having chickens for strictly egg purposes) I will be starting fairly slowly, and working my way up!   I have been attending numerous poultry shows, and learning the standard of my selected varieties.  Please feel free to contact us with any inquiries you may have.
