The babies are Coming!!!!

We have decided to have a fall 2009 litter. Our red girl Tudie(AKA Kurpas' Can't Touch This) was bred to our own Lizard(Veliraf's Hissing and Spitting. Puppies are expected around October fourth. This litter couuld be all red, or a mixture of red and blue puppies. Unfortunately- we'll just have to wait and see. Both dogs are clear of hip dysplasia, and both are bi-laterally hearing. Tudie is PRCD pattern 'C', and Lizard is PRCD pattern 'A', so the puppies will be PRCD obligate 'B'. We expecting to see some beautiful temperaments from this litter, as both parents are just fantastic dogs.

We decided to have a fall 2009 litter. This litter is an obligate B litter. This litter will have red puppies, and possibly blue as well. we have had in quite some time. Since we breed fairly infrequently, and generally only when we are looking to add another member to our pack, each litter is planned with the utmost care. We take health, temperament, and structure very seriously- so if we don't think a litter is going to to be perfect-we simply don't do it.

Here he is- the 'chosen' one. AOM CH. Kurpas' Born Again, AKA Chris. Gorgeous blue boy! He is ACD-2265F25M-PI-HIPS, ACD-EL441M25-PI-ELBOW, ACD-PRA983/2M-PI- PRCD Pattern-A. I have admired this guy for quite some time- ever since I first saw him in person. I just had to wait until he was old enough for us to use!! I LOVE his sire- and have had some wonderful pups out of him, and thought that using his son would-if we're really lucky- be even better. I think that Chris looks even better in person than his pictures, if that's possible!!

I generally only breed one litter per year, sometimes less than that, rarely more, so I want to make sure every puppy born in my house is as perfect as can possibly be. I only breed when I am looking to keep a puppy out of a particular combination, and have NEVER bred a litter solely to sell all of the puppies. Our kennel is definitely not for profit!! We are working to produce dogs that can do it all, herding, conformation, and lazing around on the couch.
