Zahra
is one of the most laid back Cattle Dogs that I have ever seen. She
prefers to spend her days curled up on the couch, preferably with my husband. Zahra does not particularily enjoy motherhood, but she does a fantastic job of raising her puppies Zahra has now been retired from breeding so she will now be able to devote all of her time to becoming the perfect 'couch potato'. Her daughters, Mica, Zilla, and gone but NEVER forgotten Kakira, can be seen by clicking on the buttons below. Zahra's hips are clear of hip dysplasia, she is bi-laterally hearing, and she will be going for her yearly eye test in March of 2003. We will continue to have her eyes checked by an opthamologist every two years, and we had her PRCD DNA'd and she came back as a 'B'- which we are very happy about.
The picture above was taken in September 2001, shortly after our barn was lost due to an electrical fire. Zahra figured she would help with the clean up!!
